Seat Valves
Engineered for rapid response, robust sealing, and seamless integration
in today’s dynamic driving environments
Precision Sealing. Instant Response. Ultimate Ride.
The Solero Technologies seat valve is purpose-built for use in active suspension systems, meeting the highest demands for sealing performance, response time, and integration. As an on/off valve, it precisely controls hydraulic flow between the pump and damper, enabling accurate regulation of vehicle dynamics.
In its closed state, the valve maintains system pressure. When needed, it opens within milliseconds to adjust damper behavior in real time—ensuring optimal performance across varying driving conditions. Its compact footprint and rugged design make it an ideal fit for modern, space-conscious chassis architectures.
The result: enhanced ride comfort, improved safety, and greater performance -powered by a valve engineered for maximum efficiency in demanding automotive environments.
Working principle
The seat valve operates on an on/off principle and is used to control hydraulic flow within active damping systems. Positioned between the hydraulic pump and the individual wheel-end dampers, the valve maintains system pressure when closed, preventing fluid from returning and thereby preserving damper charge.
When required, the valve opens to adjust pressure or redirect flow based on dynamic inputs such as vehicle load, road conditions, and real-time sensor data.
The valve is actuated electromagnetically, allowing for rapid switching and precise adaptation to driving demands. Unlike continuously variable valves, the seat valve is designed for binary switching, working as part of a broader control strategy to achieve optimal chassis performance.
