Our SPV22 pilot-controlled, voltage-driven valve (8–16 V, LIN optional) is engineered for modern vehicle thermal architectures. With its ultra-lightweight design, exceptionally silent operation, and minimal installation space, it delivers highly efficient, precise, and reliable control of water/ethanol (1:1) coolant circuits. Fully scalable for different system sizes and applications, it sets a new benchmark in automotive thermal management with magnetic actuators.
Working principle
Pilot-controlled modulation ensures quiet, efficient, and highly precise valve operation.
The SPV22 valve operates via voltage control within an 8–16 V range and can be integrated into LIN communication when required. An internal pilot mechanism enables precise modulation of the valve opening while minimizing energy consumption. By balancing internal pressure forces, the pilot control ensures whisper-quiet performance and extremely low mass.
The water/ethanol (1:1) working fluid can dynamically and efficiently regulated to maintain temperature stability and optimize thermal distribution across the system. With its compact footprint, the valve is easy to integrate even in highly constrained installation environments.
