SCV43 | 4/3-Way Valve
for Sensor Cleaning
Voltage-controlled media mistribution for modern camera and sensor cleaning systems
Efficient Fluid Distribution for ADAS Cleaning Systems
The SCV43 was developed for the targeted distribution of cleaning fluid in modern camera and sensor cleaning systems. As a voltage-controlled 4/3-way valve, it directs cleaning fluid from a single pump to as many as three cleaning nozzles, enabling multiple cleaning points to be supplied efficiently by just one pump unit.
The valve switches reliably even under system pressure, while its fast response time ensures precise and repeatable fluid distribution. Voltage-controlled actuation simplifies integration into existing vehicle architectures. At the same time, centralized fluid distribution reduces the number of DC pumps required, freeing up additional usable volume in the washer fluid reservoir. The result is lower system costs, reduced packaging space, and a compact, flexible solution for ADAS and sensor cleaning systems.
Working principle
Selective Fluid Distribution: to up to three cleaning points
The SCV43 features one inlet from the pump and three independently controlled outlets. Cleaning nozzles can be connected to these outlets using quick-connect fittings. Voltage-controlled actuation directs the cleaning fluid to the required cleaning point, such as a camera, sensor, or rear window. This allows multiple cleaning points to be supplied by a single pump, reducing the number of required components as well as packaging, wiring, and hose-routing requirements. At the same time, the valve simplifies the integration of additional cleaning points into existing system architectures. When de-energized, one outlet remains open while the other two are closed. This prevents unintended fluid flow to inactive outlets and helps ensure reliable system operation. Fast, repeatable switching supports on-demand cleaning and helps maintain the reliable availability of cameras and sensors.
