Working principle
The Park Lock Valve is a 3/2 normally closed solenoid valve, designed to control the hydraulic flow within the parking mechanism. In its default state, the valve blocks the hydraulic circuit. When energized, it shifts to allow fluid flow, enabling the movement of the locking mechanism.
Once the required parking position is achieved, the valve can quickly close again, maintaining hydraulic pressure and keeping the vehicle securely in place. Its <50ms response time, high-pressure tolerance (up to 6 bar), and robust design make it ideal for safety-critical parking applications in modern drivetrains.
