Our Capabilities

Why Solero?

At Solero, prototyping, testing, and engineering work hand in hand. This integrated approach allows us to respond quickly, enable short iteration cycles, and deliver results that directly support development and quality decisions.

From feasibility assessments to final implementation, we centrally coordinate manufacturing, testing, and external processes—providing a single point of contact throughout the entire project.

Prototyping & Manufacturing

CAD/CAM, CNC turning and milling, SLA/FDM 3D printing, conventional machining, and coil winding enable the rapid production of individual components, prototypes, and low-volume production runs.

Testing & Validation

Our expertise includes force-displacement testing, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic functional testing, as well as environmental, temperature, and thermal shock testing (air-to-air and air-to-liquid). We also perform vibration testing, salt spray testing, and ingress protection testing to IP6KX and IPX9K standards.

FAQ

Find answers to frequently asked questions about working with Solero Technologies.

From initial prototypes and functional prototypes to fixtures, replacement parts, low-volume production, and specialized engineering projects, Solero provides flexible, practical solutions for development, validation, and pre-production needs.

Solero combines CNC turning and milling, SLA/FDM 3D printing, conventional machining, coil winding, grinding, drilling, pressing, heat treatment, and assembly. These capabilities allow us to manufacture individual components, functional prototypes, and low-volume production parts through multiple integrated manufacturing processes.

Our testing capabilities include:

– Force-displacement testing
– Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic functional testing
– Environmental, temperature, and thermal shock testing (air-to-air and air-to-liquid)
– Vibration testing
– Salt spray testing
– Ingress protection testing to IP6KX and IPX9K standards

All testing is supported by measurement data evaluation and detailed analysis.

Yes. In addition to standardized testing, we can develop and perform test procedures based on customer-specific requirements and specifications. Technical feasibility is evaluated in advance to ensure the appropriate testing approach.

Depending on the testing method, individual components or complete assemblies can be tested. Information on dimensions, weight, electrical connections, operating fluids, and other relevant test conditions should be provided when submitting a project inquiry.

Yes. Integrating prototyping, testing, and technical evaluation enables rapid iteration cycles. Components can be manufactured, tested, analyzed, and further optimized based on the results. Our integrated approach covers the entire process—from initial prototypes to validated results.

Yes. In addition to manufacturing and testing, Solero supports feasibility assessments, test concept development, test planning, failure analysis, and data evaluation. The results can be directly incorporated into the next development iteration.

In general, we can process nearly all machinable materials, depending on safety and process requirements. For additive manufacturing, a range of approved FDM materials and 3D printing resins is available.

Yes. Solero works with specialized partners and coordinates the entire process.
