LINNIG
Auxiliary Drive Clutches
Durable and efficient clutch solutions for heavy-duty use
Trust the Original – LINNIG Auxiliary Drive Systems
Auxiliary drive clutches are specialized clutch systems used to control the operation of auxiliary components in vehicles and machinery. They enable the precise engagement and disengagement of fluid pumps, air conditioning compressors, fans, and generators – optimizing energy consumption and reducing wear.
LINNIG clutches are known for their reliability and durability in commercial vehicles and industrial applications. They perform flawlessly under road dust, rain, de-icing salt, and high temperatures. Particularly electromagnetic and pneumatic clutches offer flexible control and high efficiency.
Electromagnetic clutches
Reliable clutch solutions for optimal performance in specialized vehicles
LINNIG electromagnetic clutches enable precise control of auxiliary components, ensuring reliable performance in demanding vehicle applications. They provide efficient operation and safety, particularly in refuse trucks, fire trucks, hybrid vehicles & industrial applications.
In refuse trucks, they engage and disengage the hydraulic pump as needed, reducing energy consumption and wear. The emergency stop function allows immediate shutdown of the press in critical situations, enhancing safety.
Other applications include fire trucks, where they control water pumps, and hybrid vehicles at airports, where they facilitate the switch between electric and combustion engines.
LINNIG clutches are tailored to specific customer requirements and operating conditions – maximizing efficiency and durability.

Pneumatic clutches
Reliable pneumatic clutches for optimal performance in drainage and sludge suction vehicles
LINNIG pneumatic clutches are the ideal solution for pumps in drainage cleaning and sludge suction vehicles. They are particularly lightweight, narrow, and durable, making them perfect for demanding applications.
Thanks to flexible engagement processes – whether fast or gently ramping up – they offer maximum adaptability. This technology was developed in the 1970s and has been continuously optimized to ensure high wear resistance and long lifespan. Today, pneumatic clutches are used in numerous vehicles, enabling reliable engagement of auxiliary components for efficient performance and minimal downtime.
